How we really feel about parenting

I have never been able to understand how some parents can be so ignorant when it come to their kids feelings about subjects in their everyday life...... To me as a daughter with such and extremely heart broken life having a mother that pays more attention to gossip than her own well being, disturbs the living heck out of me. Don' t get me wrong i love my mother but sometimes..... most of the time i feel like crossing words with her is ether stupid or just an opening for disaster.

To give u a more perfect picture of what i mean to say is, kids my age become codependent, and unable to express themselves in affection to others when even your own mother does not even hug you or just thinks fond of you when she wants something of you. Or better yet she expects you to do everything she wants just because she buys you things.

Im sorry to say that is not how it works. 

What is up with the world???

Do you remember the talk about the world ending in 2012, the whole dilemma about the Mayan calendar, what is up with the world??? after that "news" it seems like everything that is happening has something to do with "2012" flooding, too much snow, tornadoes, and no talking about the earthquake in Haiti, Chile, and other places in the world. I don't know how this is going to end but if we die in 2012 we might as well live our lives as soon as full as we can.

Do you think we are going to die in 2012?????
